Holly. Rather boring unless it decorates the winter hedgerows with a heavy crop of red berries.
Today, thanks to heightened attention to detail along my regular lockdown paths, I’ve noticed its flowers for the first time.
That’s worth something, even if Holly still isn’t the most riveting of plants in my mind.
