This is what the English summer does so well:

some sunshine (hardly ever too much),

a few clouds (ok, it can be all grey),

a light breeze (hmm, sometimes it’s a gale)

the odd shower that refreshes the green (actually at times it seems to rain all day and night, for weeks)…

But we love it, really, for its unpredictable diversity and providing something to talk about!

Over the other English institution: a cup of tea.
