Outdoor Daily (reprise)

It’s been nearly a month since leaving serious lockdown and with it, my daily reflections on small things of beauty in a big world of uncertainty. As I once more walk my ‘lockdown paths’, I observe the changes to late summer most markedly with the setting and ripening of seed.Wildflower blooms no longer dominate the look of the hedgerows and as if to compensate, sweet blackberries are on offer by the handful. There is something to appreciate in every season and just being in nature, fully present in the moment, enhances my state of wellbeing.

Every time!
