Did I write about how much I enjoy beech forests in the spring during the previous lockdown?
I’m sure I did.
For a short time, the colour of beech leaves is just as vibrant in the autumn sunshine as in spring, now golden, later tan.
As we get accustomed to the new restrictions, I’ll again pick up my lockdown habit of seeing, noting, appreciating nature during my time outdoors and writing about it.
It’s been good for staying present and I started to miss it (not that this would be a good reason for another lockdown).
