Today’s walk is different: I’m grabbing a little ‘fresh’ air between online lectures in Plymouth city centre.
Without my dog :(
My internet in rural Cornwall is so poor that I can’t rely on its stability for the 8 hours of teaching in today’s schedule.
It’s my first time wandering around a city centre since the first lockdown started in March.
And it’s not pretty: shops, salons and and cafés closed, some forever. Businesses bust, with footprints of people’s fates and hardships, their lost hopes and dreams…
Opportunity for new beginnings? Sure, but some will find that easier than others.

What a test of resilience and mutual support!
