Outdoor Daily III

Along the Devon bank of the upper Tamar estuary lies the old mine of George and Charlotte between the mineral quays of Morwellham and Newquay.

One of the remains of the valley’s mining era is an old stationary steam engine – just ‘parked’ there along the public footpath.

I wonder what else is hidden in the woodlands, rotting slowly…
