Outdoor Daily III

I know that I’m seriously risking boring some of you here…it’s another update on my wildlife pond, which I created last summer as a lockdown diversion:

Toad spawn!!!!

I’m so happy – a big fat mamma toad and her little male companion have worked half the night and this morning to wind a metre or two double strings of fertilized eggs around the remains of last year’s clump of yellowflag.

Toad spawn fresh today !
